Brandi passante became a star in reality television when she appeared in the A&E reality show "Storage Wars". The show also featured her ex-boyfriend Jarrod who is now her husband along with her husband Jarrod. The show helped propel the pair to mainstream fame. In the show, storage lockers that have not received their rent payment in the last three months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction in hopes to buy some storage units for cheap prices. They had no idea that this show was going to make them reality celebrities! Over the course of the show the couple showed themselves to be very tactful bidders, and eventually emerged as the top performers on the reality show. In the aftermath of appearing on the television reality show, they were successful in increasing their business. They also appeared as the protagonists of a spin-off television show called 'Brandi & JARROD The Married job.'
